Helena Vitola, a sustainable product designer, spoke about her quest for the answer to the question “What is good design?”
Jeremy Carson led a mini focus group session to get feedback on the pack design for his new male toiletry brand ‘100 Bodycare’ which is made of 100% natural ingredients.
Jan Bartscht gave an inspiring talk about his company’s search for “high-performing 21st Century leaders” and what it takes to lead and succeed in the complex, uncertain and rapidly changing reality of today.
Roseline Ndoro, founder of Ndoro Children’s Charities, gave a moving and impassioned account of her work in Zimbabwe, helping the forgotten orphans of the country through education for sustainable development.
Thanks to all the great speakers and to everyone else who came, asked questions and shared their insight. Also, of course, thanks to Liene and Deesha from HUB Kings Cross for organising and chairing. It was a truly inspiring evening and reminded us of why we’re a part of this incredible HUB network.
What is the London Hub Club and how does it work?
It’s purpose is to create a closer network between members of all London Hubs and Hub friends by sharing projects, ideas, hobbies or interests. The evening travels from Hub to Hub every last Thursday of the month. Every event has members speaking on a variety of topics using different formats.
The event is very informal so feel free to bring along treats to share.
