Last Wednesday [the 26th of November] social enterprises and supporters came together to celebrate the 2014 Social Enterprise Awards – an annual event recognising the achievements of people and organisations working at the heart of our movement.
Winners were chosen from a record number of entries in 11 categories, including Social Enterprise of the Year, Women’s Champion and Inspiring Youth Enterprise.
Hub Youth Academy was shortlisted for Inspiring Youth Enterprise.
The Awards were held in Central London at LSO St Luke’s, with a supply chain of social enterprises including beer from Two Fingers Brewing, bespoke trophies made by Impact Arts and Cre8 and water from Belu. The evening was hosted by comedian and Great British Bakeoff presenter, Sue Perkins.
