Aloha! Impact Hub Summer Party 2015
Well, what a night!
Firstly, a massive thank-you to everyone who turned up to bask in the Impact Hub-love.
Highbury Fields didn’t know what hit it! Over 70 Hubbers from Islington, Kings Cross, Westminster & Brixton gathered together as one big happy (and increasingly tispy) family.
Buckets of punch (Mojito & Sex on the Beach!), beach-balls, water-pistols, Hawaiian shirts and team-sports courtesy of our awesome Hub Youth Academy alumni, Rabble – it was great to see so many Hubbers descend on Highbury Fields for the 2015 Hub Summer Party on Thursday evening.
A recap of the evening for those who missed it…
From the moment a super-market trolley filled to the brim with beer, rum and vodka rolled onto the field – piloted by Impact Hub Islington Community Host, Lee Anderson – the revels began in spectacular fashion…
It wasn’t long before all and sundry were dunking their cups into the buckets of fruit-flavoured liquor, munching on delicious food (props to Hub Islington member Mo Talukder for her tasty finger-lickin’ BBQ chicken!) and hurling beach-balls at each other in a frenzy of activity.
Thanks again to Rabble for hosting some brilliant games, and of course, kudos to all the Hosts and helpful members who assisting us in tidying throughout the evening.
So, what next?
Well, it won’t be too long before the next Impact Hub party – set your diaries for October 1st when we celebrate 10 years of Impact Hub in collaboration with Impact Hub Islington (the first Hub in the global network), Kings Cross, Westminster, Brixton, and Birmingham. So fear not, we’ll be back; fitter, stronger and a tad more tipsy than the last time.
Lee, Impact Hub Islington Community Host
