Party of the decade: Impact Hub turns 10!
Let us take you back to 2005. A group of eager-eyed students have come together with a dream of building a community. They’ve transformed an old warehouse in Islington into a buzzing space. It will become home to hundreds of entrepreneurs, activists, movers and shakers of all stripes.
Zoom forward to 2015 and 82+ Impact Hubs around the world are now home to over 11,000+ members – from Bogota to Belgrade, Taipei to Tel Aviv. What started in London has grown into a global movement, pushing the boundaries of how, where and why we work. We believed in a world where values and profit can come together, and we see the catalytic effect of social entrepreneurship across the world.
So what better way to celebrate, than with the party of the decade!
On October 1st, over 300 members, partners, and friends of Impact Hub came together at Ubrew to drink, dance, and hear from Hub makers across the UK. Here’s a snapshot of the evening:

Looking forward to how we will solve the challenges of the next 10 years

Sneakily getting the birthday cake ready (no birthday cakes were harmed in the taking of this photograph).

And of course, big thanks to the original founding team who kicked this all off – Jonathan, Katy, Etty & Mark, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Stay tuned for more video clips of the evening… and get your diaries ready for the next Hub party!
