Site Visit #3: Walls are down
As part of our community co-design of 27 Dingley Place, we’ve been running monthly site visits. Below are photos from our October 2016 site visit. Major developments have happened in last the month, including the teardown of walls on the ground floor.
Thanks to our builders at Storm, the team at London Borough of Islington and Chris King for the beautiful photos.
The ground floor is transformed – goodbye walls, hello open space.
We have our own concrete mixer on site. Looks like a rocket ship, no?
The Annex micro offices get some walls knocked down too, supporting poles holding up the ceiling in the meantime.
The floor gets stripped on the second floor… rumours are there’s parquet underneath?
Hold onto your hats as we go through to the courtyard!
We look forward to a courtyard full of climbing plants and edible flowers.
This spooky room will transform into shiny washrooms.
A peek outside the windows, we love the view from 27 Dingley Place.
Watch this space!
