What role does belief play in today’s world? Is our intrigue in the supernatural natural? Is science a belief system? What do people mean on dating sites when they say they’re ‘spiritual but not religious’? When is it rational to be irrational? How does identifying as a unicorn fit into all this? Do you believe in life after love?

Join us for the first Brainy Brunch of 2016 where we’ll be communing on the topic of belief. Belief and faith are as old as the hills but are still topics that stir and provoke much debate. Come and share a bagel brunch and ideas about the big questions: where the unseen world meets the world we live in and how our relationship with the unknown impacts our existence.

This month’s Brainy Brunch is curated and hosted by Loose Baker, games facilitator, trained fool, and founder of The Spiritual Playground, a travelling festival area. Her latest performance project is as gender-neutral Jesus impersonator Shesus.
