Mindful eating evening
Bring along a few food items (that don’t need cooking) and we will together put together a feast and enjoy it mindfully.
At these meetups we are exploring how we can modify our behaviours and put in place good habits. Eating is something we all do. It’s natural and can be healthy, and pleasurable too. However, in our food-abundant, diet-obsessed, eat-at-the-desk culture, eating is often mindless, consuming, and guilt inducing instead. Mindful eating is an ancient mindfulness practice with profound modern implications and applications for resolving this troubled love-hate relationship with food and for improving many other aspects of our lives.
