Feedback & Falafel: Moving from the ‘I’ to the ‘we’

Feedback & Falafel: Moving from the ‘I’ to the ‘we’

The Hub community harbours an astonishing treasure of knowledge and skills. On Tuesdays, we invite Hub members as well as people outside our community to offer a glimpse into their world. From community mapping to sales workshops or learning how to play the ukulele, each week opens a new door.

This week, Nikki Levitan from Community of Opportunity, in partnership with Impact Hub Islington, will offer a second creative session to explore and unlock the power of the communities we are all part of. We will go a little broader in this second session and look at the ways in which our current world tells us everyone is ‘in it for themselves’. We’ll think about spaces in which we can counteract the internalisation of this worldview (such as mistrust of others based on judgement or prejudice) and also test whether our own experience aligns with the model we are taught and told. How would we move in the world if our focus was more on the ‘we’?

Hosts will take falafel orders at 12 noon and pick up delicious falafel wraps from the local chapel market for the start of the session. Join us for a colourful lunch of learning, laughter and tahini.

Order your falafel wrap (£3) at 12 noon, the event starts at 1pm.
