Feedback & Falafel: Virtual watercoolers and other tips for digital nomads

Feedback & Falafel: Virtual watercoolers and other tips for digital nomads

The Impact Hub community harbours an astonishing treasure of knowledge and skills. On Tuesdays, we invite Impact Hub members as well as people outside our community to offer a glimpse into their world.

As the world moves towards more virtual working, employees and freelancers across all sectors are finding themselves presented with a new set of challenges and opportunities to navigate in a new collaborative digital landscape. What are they, and what tools and behaviours can we employ to ensure the same level of success for virtual workers as those interacting face to face?

Hubber Kirstie Wielandt, who is a global team leader for Greenpeace and currently training and enabling Greenpeace staff to effectively lead virtual global projects, will share some of her insights from this work. She will also ask what challenges you have faced in virtual working as part of your day to day experience and share her learnings about how these can be mitigated.

Order your falafel wrap (£3.50) at 12 noon, the event starts at 1pm.
